Overview

Module 3 is the final stage of The Jensen Method seminar series. It is designed to bring together all elements taught in Modules 1 and 2 and push towards confident, independent implementation in clinical practice. It deepens the understanding of global interrelationships in the kinetic chain and focuses heavily on advanced diagnostic reasoning, clinical decision-making, long-term rehabilitation planning, and real-world application.

You will refine your clinical instincts and develop mastery in identifying reciprocal inhibitions, proprioceptive dysfunctions, and neuromuscular fatigue patterns that contribute to recurring or treatment-resistant problems.

This module is about integration, ownership, and becoming a confident Jensen Method Practitioner.

Seminar Schedule

Saturday (9:00 – 17:00)

● 09:00 – 10:00 | Recap of Modules 1 & 2

● 10:00 – 12:00 | Advanced Biomechanical Integration: Treating the Chain

● 12:00 – 13:00 | Lunch

● 13:00 – 14:30 | Case-Based Deep Dive 1: Global Inhibition & Recurrence

● 14:30 – 17:00 | Mastering Long-Term Rehab Strategy

Sunday (9:00 – 14:00)

● 09:00 – 10:30 | Real-Time Application: Live Case Assessments

● 12:00 – 13:00 | Integration in Practice: Communication, Confidence, and Closing the Loop

1. Global Assessment Review & Integration

● Synthesising findings across the body into a singular clinical picture

● Combining lower limb, spinal, and upper body dysfunction into one cohesive diagnosis

● Chain reaction logic: How distal dysfunction can manifest proximally

2. Reciprocal Inhibition and Proprioceptive Blocks

● Identifying patterns of neuromuscular inhibition

● Understanding compensatory strategies and neural prioritisation

● Techniques for unlocking stuck patterns: from HVLA to proprioceptive drills

3. Advanced Exercise Modifications

● Progressive variations of the core Jensen Method exercises

● Exercise pathways for:

○ Post-surgical rehabilitation

○ Neurological compromise

○ Hypermobile or unstable patients

● Scaling intensity and complexity while maintaining integrity

4. Clinical Case Integration

● Use of real patient cases (participant-provided or supplied)

● Live group evaluation, assessment, and problem solving

● Attendee participation as patients for case demonstration and skill refinement

5. Implementation Mastery

● Becoming a fluent Jensen Method clinician

● Creating confident, simple communication for patient buy-in

● Managing setbacks, adapting plans, and maintaining long-term compliance

Learning Outcomes

By the end of Module 3, you will:

● Confidently assess and treat complex cases across the entire kinetic chain

● Modify and prescribe advanced Jensen Method exercises for a range of patients

● Demonstrate a strong intuitive understanding of rehabilitation progression and integration

● Communicate treatment rationale clearly and effectively to patients

● Feel equipped to use The Jensen Method as a cornerstone of their clinical practice

The Jensen Method is a comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal rehabilitation and treatment developed by Dr. Marius A. Jensen. Drawing from over a decade of experience as a chiropractor, combined with a background in high-level athletics, the method emphasises the importance of integrating early-stage supervised rehabilitation with chiropractic techniques. This approach aims to address the underlying dysfunctions in the body’s kinetic chain, offering a structured and evidence-based treatment plan that enhances recovery outcomes.

Speaker Dr. Marius Jensen, D.C., C.C.E.P

Doctor Marius A. Jensen, DC, Mchiro (hons), CCEP, grew up in Oslo, Norway, where he had the opportunity to ski from a young age.

After graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) from the prestigious Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, Doctor Jensen began practicing in London, where he currently helps a wide variety of patients ranging from professional athletes to kids and the elderly. He has also obtained his C.C.E.P. (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner) credentials, which has given him much additional knowledge into the diagnosis and treatment of various extremity and sports injuries. We are pleased to have recently welcomed Doctor Jensen as a C.C.E.P. instructor. As an instructor, Doctor Jensen has already taught a handful of our CEA courses, primarily at AECC in Europe.

Dr. Jensen believes in a multidisciplinary approach to holistic treatment.
