Speaker: Lindsay Mumma, DC

Lindsay Mumma, DC, is the owner of Triangle Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC, a multidisciplinary practice she opened in 2012 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2011 with the Clinical Excellence Award. She is an instructor for the Motion Palpation Institute and moveMentors.

She began her career with a focus on sports rehab, but when she wanted to get pregnant, she realized that this approach of prehabilitation and rehabilitation techniques was relevant to (and missing from) most perinatal care. As she began applying things she’d learned from MPI and DNS to pregnant and postpartum patients, her practice shifted to primarily focusing on the perinatal time period. She continues to serve her patients ranging from pediatrics through geriatrics, desk jockeys to professional athletes.

Dr. Mumma teaches a skills-based and evidence-informed approach to care rather than a protocol-driven set of instructions. She continues to hone her own skills in various manual therapies and adjusting techniques as well as venturing into different arenas of movement and learning whenever possible.

She is also a writer and is the author of the best-selling book Your Pelvic Floor Sucks (as seen on MPI’s Recommended Reading list), which takes a practical approach to improving pelvic floor dysfunction.
