Session 1 Upper Limb: 08:30-12:30
Don’t miss out this opportunity to update your injection therapy knowledge and upper limb and/or lower limb injection techniques of commonly encountered injections in primary care!
This unique experience will include a session in the wet lab session at Health Sciences University with an expert anatomist who will guide you through the precise location of each injection. This supports the interactive landmark- guided revision that follows.
The module will be set in the context of the purpose and safety considerations of injection therapy, and will include contents including contraindications, cautions, anaphylaxis, and use of lidocaine and other commonly used drugs.
The expected learning outcomes are:
- Distinguish the contemporary context and safety considerations of injection therapy in upper limb and/or lower limb.
- Demonstrate the anatomy of the upper limb and/or lower limb in the context of injection therapy techniques
- Evaluate the relevant drugs and dosages required in relation to injection techniques used in primary care within upper limb and lower limb.
