Prerequisites
This course is only for DN leaders in Dorset Healthcare.
Course details
This 8 session bespoke course has been designed for the District Nursing leadership team in Dorset to support the implementation of Integrated Neighbourhood Team working.
The course explores what it means to be an inclusive and influential leader in multidisciplinary settings, with practical learning on behaviour change, stakeholder engagement, risk‑focused leadership, governance, and data‑driven population health management.
Through expert‑led workshops, real‑world examples, and hands‑on tools, you will deepen your understanding of local system priorities, strengthen your decision‑making under uncertainty, and understand how DiiS can be used to understand your community. The programme culminates in a flexible, delegate‑shaped closing session to consolidate learning and plan next steps. This is an essential opportunity for nurse leaders who want to drive high‑quality, person‑centred care and confidently shape the future of integrated community services.
